01 — Our Story

A lifelong dream,
shared with a
best friend.

Amber has always had a passion for art and photography. After finishing her MBA, she decided it was time to chase the dream she'd been carrying for years.

Greg shared that love of photography — and he's the one who made it real. He bought Amber a camera, and with his encouragement, a lifelong aspiration turned into A&G Romans Photo.

Today we shoot every session together as partners. We believe that to really understand anything, you have to know its backstory — so here's ours, and we can't wait to hear yours.

    The Dream

    Amber grew up with a passion for art and photography — a dream she always knew she'd come back to.

    The Camera

    After Amber finished her MBA, Greg bought her a camera and told her to go for it. That was the push.

    Now we work side by side, photographing families, seniors, and more across Ankeny and Central Iowa.
